Questions?

“How do I gain experience while in the FSU MBA Program?”

Let’s face it. Experience is the key to employment. The purpose of the MBA internship program is to create opportunities for MBA students to gain experience while contributing to the local business community.  Students engage in internships to gain applied business knowledge in real time and in real business situations. Our employers seek to incorporate graduate-level interns who bring fresh ideas that will impact their organization as well as introduce them to prospective new talent.

Internship Project Examples:

  • Assisting with contract negotiations
  • Analyzing business operations
  • Benchmarking and other research activities
  • Development of marketing plans, strategies, objectives, market and media analysis, and implementation plans
  • Developing community and other outreach initiatives
  • Performing financial analysis for existing and prospective customers
  • Generating business plans and assisting with process mapping
  • Develop strategic and financial profiles, to include possible merger and acquisition targets
